SUBATOMIC SOUND SYSTEM – ON ALL FREQUENCIES
"While they may ply their trade in an assortment of reggae, hip-hop, broken beat, and jungle tracks, each is approached with a maverick, dub-wise sensibility that shouts a clear music-first missive to the masses. The band delivers as advertised, hitting you thoroughly on all frequencies." – XLR8R Magazine |

ESCORT – LOVE IN INDIGO
“Love In Indigo” is an energetic disco anthem about a girl’s unfulfilled desire and passion… for an elusive pair of boots. Zena Kitt’s soaring vocals elicit hand waving madness. The original version is paired with a DJ friendly extended edit. The second cut "Karawane" is a psychedelic percussion-driven journey inspired by Hugo Ball’s dada sound poem of the same name; Greg Wilson describes Karawane as the “bastard child of Brass Construction and Yello.” Two perfect peak-time tracks for discerning dance-floors! |

ESCORT – BRIGHT NEW LIFE A Bright New Life (“akarui seikatsu”) is the latest disco anthem from Brooklyn’s Escort. It’s a sardonic take on getting ahead, featuring Zena Kitt’s powerful lead vocals, a horn section led by Jon Natchez, strings by Caleb Burhans, and absolutely massive drums and percussion by Ernesto Abreau, Chauncey Yearwood, and Ben Herson. Features two additional edits for DJs, including one by Metro Area’s Morgan Geist. The flip, All That She Is, is synthesizer-driven, cinematic late-night disco. It’s quixotic falsetto refrain will delight and perplex listeners. |

ESCORT – ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT It’s Escort’s final 12" before they take a break to finish their LP and it’s a bona fide club banger. Already getting play from the likes of Ewan Pearson, Trevor Jackson, and Darshan Jesrani, the track comes off like "the bastard child of Prince and Teena Marie, conceived at a swinger’s party hosted by Rick James." Disco-punk superstars The Rapture offer up a remix that marries Baltimore club syncopation to classic techno sensibilities. It’s a DJ essential and more proof that Escort are firmly on the forefront of modern disco. |

PAMPIDOO – SELAISSE I RULE – 7 " JAMAICAN IMPORT Pampidoo has been a major Dancehall DJ for many years, with a huge record on the Freedom Sounds label. We haven’t heard a firey tune like this from him in many years, so we’re VERY PROUD to have him do a KILLER vocal on the same riddim as "Let There Be Love" by Johnny Osbourne. |

LITTLE JOHN – I FEEL GOOD 7 " JAMAICAN IMPORT Little John has been one of the very bigest dancehall singers since dancehall began. His voice is instantly recognizable, and he’s been mashing up dances non-stop throughout his career. This tune is one of the best things he’s recorded in the last 20 years, if not his entire career. |
