The Urban Mediamakers Film Festival takes place October 17-19, 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. Blending activism and filmmaking, UMFF 2008 brings a strong Atlanta vibe that encompasses the city’s signature of being culturally diverse. This three-day festival includes an opening night reception and premiere, all-day FREE independent film screenings on Saturday, workshops, panels, networking, awards presentation, “Water Runs Deep” concert and a Sunday morning breakfast.
