Saturday, Jan 19, 2008
8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Film Screening: African Underground: Democracy in Dakar followed by a panel discussion with: Ben Herson (Nomadic Wax, (Magee McIlvaine (Sol Productions), Moussa Sall (Senegalese MC), Self Suffice (NYC). This panel discussion with the filmmakers and African MCs will look at the role of hip-hop as a means to promote non violent social and political change around the world.
